The Editorial

A classic, yet beautiful 45 minute session taking place at one location with you and your lover. This session yields 35 stunning images consisting of prompted poses and few candids.
The Experiental

This session is for anyone looking to experience a romantic date with your love all while being candidly captured on camera. 1-2 hours of a date of your choice (perhaps a romantic meal on a balcony or a tranquil picnic at the beach). Yields 100 photos.

why should I hire a professional photographer?
I know what you're thinking... we all have smartphones these days, so why can't I just take a picture myself for free?
There is a lot more that goes into photography than just the camera itself (although I would argue a professional digital camera offers a much better quality than even the latest iPhone camera). A professional photographer means professional training for working with lighting, shooting with different lenses and camera settings, posing models, framing, and editing.
While these are all true, the best reason for booking a professional photo shoot is because it can truly be so FUN and will be an experience to remember. A photo shoot becomes a touching memory of you and your family or partner that you will cherish. (And bonus: it comes with beautiful photos to always remember it by).
Do you travel for shoots?
Uh, YES! I may be a Maine-based photographer, but take me and me anywhere! For sessions within my home state, there is a small travel fee of 20 cents per mile. For any session out of the state, the travel fee will vary depending on where you want to take me. We'll talk and I'll determine a cost and send you a quote.
Will there be a second shooter/assistant with you?
Almost always I will have my lovely and oh-so-talented husband (and second-shooter/assistant) Gideon with me. On rare occasions, it will be just me, but you can typically expect both of us at our session. (Trust me - you'll love him!)
Do I order prints through you?
You can absolutely order prints through me! When you view your finished gallery, you will notice the option to add photos to your cart and to select and purchase prints of any kind. It is super easy!
